Stories of sexual harassment in the entertainment industry, media companies and the tech industry have led to swift action, but much less attention has been focused on the plight of blue-collar workers, like those at Fordhttp://nyti.ms/2oKkxON

Same inaction is far more widespread in academia. No reports on this? Why? https://www.buzzfeed.com/amphtml/stephaniemlee/stanton-glantz-sexual-harassment-lawsuit?utm_term=.ctqxxarv3&__twitter_impression=true …

No, every woman doesn't. Don't speak for all women. I worked in construction, in a skilled trade with predominantly men. Never once was I sexually harassed or treated improperly! The guys were so helpful, nice, fun and RESPECTFUL. Great guys to work with.

Thank you for bringing the light and the truth to the darkest corners. Sexual assault and harassment is rampant in our culture. Where there is power, there is misuse of it! We can change these dynamics by empowering ALL to speak the truth. #breakthecycle

The problem is that guys like Harvey Weinstein and his co-conspirators aren't in jail; this will at least send the right message to high-powered execs who commit rape and sexual assault.

It wasn’t just in the factories. I worked for Ford in the New Orleans district office around 1979-80 and was sexually harassed by the district manager who told me that I would never get a promotion unless I slept with him. I didn’t. After no promotion, I quit
