After watching the special on Louboutin on Netflix, I want to wear heels even less than I already do. He has no concern for comfort and style, only style, and that's just disgusting.

There's hardly ever a reason for a woman to wear 4"+ heels.

Men occasionally try wearing heels, for a dare or a challenge, & discover they can't walk, run, move easily, or balance, & their joints hurt for days. Stilettos are the equivalent of footbinding in 18thC China. They shouldn't ever be *required* wearing.

Those high heels are meant to hobble women. Makes them easier prey.

High heels just put women in the butt out, chest out sexualizing position... Kind of sick when you think about it. Good riddance, heels...we want our REAL HEALS on the GROUND

Why is "style" something that causes pain and damage (I say as a person who's had extensive foot surgery)? If as much sexy marketing hype were expended on round toes and low heels, they would become "style" too! Style is perception, not intrinsic.

Not to mention the physical damage they can cause. Sprained ankles, broken ankles, deformed feet, damaged spines. The higher they go, the lower mine go. Sneakers work best.

Hope they stop making fashion out of those disabling shoes, like stilettos, that make us fall when we run and have a sick spine by 50.

For some of us, it was called ‘having high standards & good taste.’ If Birkenstocks are mentioned, I’ll be in the kitchen & clutching my pearls as I stick my head in the oven. 🍸
