This.......is.......embarrassing!!! How many do you think voted for Trump

How is this embarrassing? The vast majority of the 13 million will be people who voluntarily drop out with the repeal of the individual mandate. I thought Democrats were all about pro-choice.
-
That’s not true. Majority are the sick n old,and the ones who choose to drop out will have no insurance. Yeah, that’s smart

-
Incorrect. The bill takes away the mandate, allowing Americans to choose if they want a bad plan that they can’t afford. That’s not taking coverage from anyone, that’s providing Americans choice.
-
-
Also, your stat that taxes are increased on 87 million families is a lie. In 10 years every family at every income level will either pay less, or still pay nothing at the federal level over that time period.
-
Noooooooo way! Read the cbo report, sir.
-
From the NYT today... 75% of families would pay less in taxes...https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2017/12/17/upshot/tax-calculator.html …

You mean 13 million Americans will have the FREEDOM to CHOOSE not to have health coverage because they are not FORCED to by the government's punitive tax penalty.
-
Yes and will we have the freedom to let them Die because they can’t afford the healthcare.
-
So NOT hitting them with a major punitive tax somehow hurts them in terms affording insurance? Ooookay. How is it over there in the anti-logic universe?
-
Those that can’t afford insurance gets subsidized. I don’t, I have no dog in this fight but at least if they all have an opportunity for healthcare coverage it makes for a better USA.
-
You don't seem realize what is being removed here is NOT the subsidies, but the tax penalty for not having insurance. Without those penalties it's estimated 13 million will DECIDE not to get insurance.
-
They really don't get it. Safety net policies pre-Obamacare were exactly that. They were super cheap (with no govt subsidies); didn't pay for preventive care but DID give peace of mind to young people in case they had a big medical expense.

13 million Americans are just no longer subject to an onerous penalty for choosing not to buy health insurance - no one is taking cov away
-
Actually with the loss of subsidies it will make coverage unaffordable for many, so yes they will be taking coverage away from millions of Americans - including my son.

Thanks a lot, trump voters. You’ve officially screwed over the United States for us all. Your children will suffer just as much as ours will. I really hope you enjoy what’s left of your freedom. We are in a Kleptocracy now.
