Companies will step surely step in to fill the gap, using their permanent tax cuts to ensure no child goes without. I don't believe it either, but really, what does it say about a country that pays for permanent tax breaks for companies by sticking it to millions of children?

I don't understand it, we supposedly live in one of the wealthiest countries in the world and yet there are still people who don't have healthcare.... where have we gone so wrong.

IMHO, different perspective... For a lot of US citizen, healthcare = "communism"... 🤷‍ And yes... more than 50 years after McCarthyism, "they" still have this "ghost" in mind. Even when you win a ware you can lose somethings else... May be is time to grow up and learn humility?

Imo it's more people don't wanna look past their own self intrest . If it doesn't directly benefit themselves or pocketbook they couldn't care about another person. Personally I would rather pay more in taxes & know my neighbors have healthcare, it's being a decent human

Apparently, in America, the rich don't believe that all people, even children, deserve health insurance. But we do believe in tax cuts for billionaires.
