At my age I've heard this story multiple times different climbers, same mountain. How many oxygen tanks have been left on those mountain sides? We all know about the bodies but what about all the crap they leave there.?

I don't disagree, I'm just glad someone is bringing somebody or something down. Having heard this so many times before and it was always they couldn't-but now they are. It's good, we're good.

"Climbing Everest is a formidable feat." C'mon, the sherpa guides take "hero-tourists" there every week. Like "elephant hunters" and the 12-men, fully-armed teams, that prepare the bull carcass for the Matador macho-brave "estocada". Theatricals!

Sorry, climbing Everest might be on one's bucket list; however, is it worth it to all the way up there when one might die? Read "Into Thin Air." It's gut-wrenching.
