I had trouble believing, in spite of all evidence to the contrary, that the Republican Party could go this low. That they could so overtly and consciously sell-out the American people to their Robber Barron supporters. SHAME!

This isn’t a Republican or Democrat issue, it’s been publicly stated that both sides feel the same. It’s a sad day in America and for the future of our internet.

I wish I could agree that this issue is not a political issue. However, the vote was led by Pai (a political beast and former employee of Verizon). More importantly, the vote followed on pure party lines (3-2).

Why will you allow dinosaur gate-keepers like @comcast or @verizon to tell you which content to access. Calling all the big dogs @Google @apple @facebook @amazon to build your own gates, bridges, tunnels or whatever to get people to freedom of internet. #wakingupthegiants

Also localities could provide their own internet access. In that case, expect the government to tell towns that they can’t do that. It’s all about monopolies

Eliminating net neutrality is yet another decision that benefits only the few. This will be terrible for free speech & innovation. #NetNeutrality
