        Even if we could find a way to cut the waste and give the extra food to the poor, starving ppl, the republicans would cancel the program immediately, while calling it a disgusting undeserved entitlement that should somehow be turned into a tax break for the rich instead !

        well , maybe they should make another bin for food products and the states can make compost, the solution to the problem is not telling people to eat all their food....

        This really needs to consider how to process waste food . 1.3 billion ton is not small number as other side of earth so many people no food to eat. Really need make global food database, send over food to lack food place, food amount affects human population issue.
