Payday loans are NEVER EVER a good idea. Pay them a living wage and be done with it. Its easy. Just have to love the people who work for you more than your shareholders.

One of the richest families in the US should pay a living wage so that employees don’t have to worry about such things.

Or maybe they could, you know, pay a living wage so people didn't have to get loans for gas money.

Pay the employees a better wage and they would not have to resort to payday loan sharks.

Why should they pay better wages when they know the taxpayer will step in to help? Until companies are billed by the feds for the assistance provided to their workers, they will continue to pay wages below what is necessary for a normal human being to survive.

I'm all for anything that can help protect people who are vulnerable to predatory lenders. Payday lenders are a byproduct of a broken system... as are below living wages.

Pay them a living wage. I'm sick and tired of my tax dollars paying for welfare, food stamps of Wal-Mart employees while the Walton family walks off with billions every year. Conservatives, you want to know who the real welfare queens are, look no further than the Walton's.

If a person needs a bit of cash before payday, there's an inherent problem at play here. Is it me, or is this just giving some folks a chance to fall further into debt more quickly?

Critics also probably suggest Wal-Mart supply personal financial planners to assist employees with budgeting.

Walmart paid $64B in taxes last year on half as much of sale of Amazon, which paid $ 1B in taxes. This means Amazon contributed 128th of what Walmart paid for public schools, firefighters and so on. Oh, treating employees, a good piece:http://nyti.ms/1TFqcOG
