Chuck Schumer called on Mitch McConnell to “hit the pause button” on the tax vote until Senator-Elect Doug Jones is sworn in. It's highly unlikely McConnell will do so.http://nyti.ms/2CeRNQW

I mean, this tax bill can't be more important than, say, waiting to fill a Supreme Court seat...right?

Of course not. @SenateMajLdr is incapable of doing the decent thing or even bother following protocol if he can actively screw over Democrats.

You realize when Rs won a special senate seat election in 2009 and Dems controlled the senate, they waited for that R to be seated before working on the healthcare bill, right?

Maybe the acting senator, Luther Strange will grow a pair and abstain from the tax vote because he isn’t the elected senator and the elected senator is sitting in the sidelines watching. He may get kudos from the people of Alabama for doing so.
