        No, it is not. Peter Boal at the PNB is a gentleman. You can be a great teacher and director without being a monster. Abuse is NEVER a job description.

        Time for @nycballet to do the right thing and fire this abusive monster. There is no place for abuse in the Art world, just like any other world. Discipline can be induced in many ways, being abusive is not an acceptable one, especially not to growing children.

        The biggest problem with the arts is that people like this guy weasel their way into positions of power. I've read and heard horror stories about tyrannical directors and instructors. They believe that it's acceptable to act that way because they're pushing people to be beter.
