This was true at my own workplace. The content had more to do with how employers defended themselves from lawsuits than it did with recognizing or avoiding harassment.

It is a pity that we even need training for what is considered “common” decency!

But put it in the context of society's treatment of women as second class for several thousand years. Probably not as common as you think it to be.

Companies aren't responsible for policing the planet, only their employees during work hours. Social Laws and Legality are what need to prevent harassment. We need to work on those. The company you work for can't be responsible for fixing the problem outside of the workplace.

Yes and no. Liability is a reflection of the law and social norms. If society as a whole has not yet come to terms with harassment, it is hardly surprising that companies are not there yet either.

I just bashed a couple of boys who tried to harass me as a girl. Once you establish your reputation, as a fighter, they back off. Of course self defense lessons are required. My father taught me to fight.

Any beautiful woman faces that in the work place, but how she handles it matters a lot. When my boss try me, I sold him a plan to kill his wife and come elope with me abroad. I know he won't do it so I kept reminding him about the plan until he started dodging me! I got my fredom

Sexual Harassment “training101” has been in place for years and years! I’m 48 and was in sales and customer relations for a large logistics Corp. If I had a dollar for every single inappropriate behavior from a man Ive dealt with, I could retire! I’m gonna look back at old email
