Exactly! In Canada, there's toothless laws that protect CA women,no actual way to enforce it, no fines for infractions, no one to report 2

In my experience This is very true. All my sexual harassment training in corporate America focused on limiting liability not prevention.

The Philadelphia Parking Authority board didn't fire its executive director, a sexual predator. Instead, @PhilaParking developed a primer on female body parts to avoid. 🙄 #MeToo @Commish_Schmidt @AlTaubenbergerpic.twitter.com/YsC5CXTYHk

HR doesn't support the employee. When you have any type of harassment issues they are there to support the company no matter what

All the training in the world is not going to prevent sexual harassment as long as there are men, women & hormones. Sure, now that it's big news, some folks will be cautious, but once it gets off the front page (and it will) life will go on as it has.
