A white couple adopted a black girl and then returned her for a white daughter. This is what happened when the 2 women met, decades later.http://nyti.ms/2B3qICr

This was a great read. I wonder if some commenters actually read it through. Disturbing, how? It ends well and there’s a lesson to be learned about making assumptions about someone’s life based on skin color. Those calling this race-baiting didn’t bother to read, I’m sure. 🤔

Agree. I read this article based on an assumption the outcome would be sad. It was a great read and a good ending.

This is a perfect example of why we are where we are in this country. Few have the courage to stand up to the systemic racism that will always be the stain on America’s soul.

The “parents” were disposable. You love a child because you & they need to share a life, not because they are the “wrong” color/race. Children are universal. Shame to the “parents”. Stand up for what’s right (and “Christian”, if that’s how you label yourself.

        1) If you are disgusted by the mans actions it is likely that a. You are young& didn’t grow up in this time. And b. If you assume having black parents means you had somehow less of a childhood you haven’t spent time with many black families.
