The real question is why is our congress so wealthy. He makes $180,000 a year. Where is the $5 mil coming from.

You don't ask someone who works for you!!! If he is so ignorant to think that is ok, he probably would not be a great dad. Not to judge, but really....sorry, not sorry.

Isn’t there a better place to look for surrogates than at work?
-
Like, the mall?
-
Not ideal, but a mall is a step up from asking your employees. I was more thinking of a website or a fertility clinic. Maybe they have a registry for surrogates.

Why on earth would he offer this to collegues?? I understand the desperation for a child and to discuss it off the cuff, but to actually proposition coworkers to be surrogates? People usually advertise privately for this.

A lot of “booze, women and movies” with that kid of money. Besides, isn’t adoption like a $4,960,000 less expensive way to have children?

Why isn’t he adopting unwanted children? He is “pro-life” I assume.
-
I'm sure he saw something in the Bible about that.

Ah, the morals of the far right.

In all fairness, a woman from the far right was pissed off enough to raise the poor staffer’s experience with Paul Ryan.
