The fire overwhelmed a thoroughbred training center that had about 400 horses. They got as many out as they could with trailers, etc and then just had to basically let the rest go free because time ran out.

OMG. That's so sad. They had to know it was coming. They should have brought in a semi with a trailer. That's horrible.

Read San Diego news, fire started at intersection of interstate/Hwy 4 miles from training center. No time to evacuate over 450 racehorses as fire cut off entry to center.

The winds were between 80 and 90 mph. The fire was on top of the whole neighborhood before the first 911 call went out

Not true at all. There were plans in place but no one ever expected 80-90 mph winds. The whole neighborhood was up in flames before the first 911 call went out.

Again, you haven’t a clue as well, if they took that precaution they’d be moving them every other week out here. Have you ever lived in California? We get coastal winds up and down the west coast. They very between 0-70 mph all the time and go up and down several times a day

You obviously have no clue! I’m guessing you think Mother Nature doesn’t exist along with climate change! The only reason you take issue is because you have a thing against horse racing. This would have happened even if it was a farm or regular horse ranch.

I don’t care who you are. These aren’t excuses. You are just uneducated in the situation and all the factors at hand. That’s ok though because I don’t expect you to do. People nearly lost their lives because of the fire jumping them as well. Two are in induced comas.
