The recent cycle of drought and deluge in California led to major fire risk. Climate change makes that cycle worse.http://nyti.ms/2y7CAO9

Man's growing predominance on fisheries, forests, grasslands & croplands coupled with the ever-growing human population is geopardising the future of human society. Are we going to hand over a scorched planet to our succesers? Or can we rejuvenate it?

They arrested a man who was going into his own house. Trump had to go bigger. He attacked the whole FBI. What else do you have?

These fires look more like arson than global warming.

The sad thing is you will have no idea how simplistic that comment makes you look. Yes, because arson is just this hard to combat...ROFLMAO. Serial arson everywhere in California! What a joke.

I've lived in many green, hot, and dry cities that did have annual wildfires. I have also been in many hurricanes including some of the worst in history. Every disaster does not have the same cause. There is snow and ice in Louisiana after 82 degrees on Tuesday and 3 days of rain.

So you realize these many many fires (half of a dozen different ones now) that are spreading at 100 yards a second are spreading that fast because of how DRY and warm it is...EVEN IN DECEMBER! More records being broken. And then you go: This looks more like arson to me. What?!

Some past fires in CA were started as a result of arson. It is a possibility.
