Al Franken, a Democrat, reluctantly announced that he would resign. What does it tell us that his own party made him do it?http://nyti.ms/2y7yLZB

2 weeks ago I would've said @SenGillibrand will very likely be on the 2020 Dem PresTicket... Now- Not a chance. The @SenFranken call makes her look far too much like a political opportunist... all b/c she didn't want to deal with R's saying "what about Al?" #DontResignFranken

If he had to resign not because he is guilty but for good of the party then the Dems MUST investigate into the women’s allegations &determine if they are credible, true & legit.Something about this smells like a set up by ‘Fox & friends’Trump cronies!

The Democrats did what the republicans REFUSE to do to a pedophile ROY MOORE. GOP is only out to protect their wealthy donors money for them.

His own party "made him"? When he groped women, he made HIMSELF a person who would need to resign.

It tells us that some Democrats think that any kind of sexual assault is more important than preventing worldwide nuclear war, since Franken was a potential President. They prefer Trump.

You know what it tells us? Liberals cannibalize each other at any cost for political gain. It’s just what we do. It’s absurd but you just kind of accept it as a progressive, liberal and Democrat.

Seems like a solid foundation. Maybe that can be the party’s slogan “we cannibalize each other for Political gain; It’s just what we do.”

There’s a difference though in accepting certain things about which way you lean politically and just downright accepting someone who may have assaulted a 14 year old girl for an extra vote to push a ridiculous agenda through.

There’s also a difference is doing the right thing because you’re a scum bag and being forced to do the right thing because your party is hanging by a thread and needs the moral high ground.

So do you think someone like Roy Moore should be in the senate? Or even Trump be in the Oval Office?

I already said no. Hahaha. Moore is toast. But I don’t think Trump would be in the Oval Office if any of his allegations held water. People are just pissed because he won and they are gonna dig up anything they can to smear him. It’s just hilarious watching it fall apart.
