Speculation and no confidence into the ‘normal’ economy’s growth potential. Unrealistic expectations from investors, wrong promises. Here we are, the Bitcoin wave!

People are suckers for a get rich quick scheme. When the crash comes, it'll sound like Donald Trump rolling downstairs in a 55 gallon drum full of broken glass.

As long as the average person is greedy and irrational, there will be lots of losers after the crash - no matter what the currency is called or how it is distributed..
-
Idk if buying into something that is gaining value like this can be called an irrational move. Though the crash is certainly inevitable.
-
Buying in might be ok, but I am pretty sure lots of people won't sell because of "oh just a little bit longer" - and I also fear that too many people bet all their money on that and not just their "gambling capital" so to speak..
-
Waiting a bit longer may be a high risk/high reward move. But irrational? I don't think you can say that tbh. Wrong maybe. Not irrational
-
Drifting away towards a vocab discussion, are we :D But wouldn't someone consider doing something wrong as irrational? In most cases, I think I would. But don't get me wrong, investing is not a bad thing per se, but people should be very cautious..
