        It is unconscionable that Democrats rose up again their own! Especially since a these allegations did not take place during his political career and 2. AF was a formidable opponent to corrupt GOPers! Democrats shot themselves in foot if not head!

        I think all this is to try to get the moral high ground for when Roy Moore gets in. They can use it to win more seats its probably a good move for future elections

        It is painful & sad to learn of the incidents attributed to Al Franken. As a public figure, he's had an admirable career - in politics, as a voice for justice & sanity. His stepping aside, now, is the right move, but still regretable.
