Estrogen does increase your chance of breast cancer, so yes.

Would be most helpful with all the media attention if the public could see more than just the abstract @nejm, particularly with a population based study (want to see if cofounders were accounted as I pull my patients off the ledge wanting to abruptly stop OCP)

It a profoundly irresponsible headline, for several reasons.

Details please. What hormone or coctail of homes causing the cancer. So tired of media soundbites without details.

Read it before responding. Perfect example of lack of research funds. Alarmist reporting on data that is not solid and still questioned. Need more research . "We don't know why this is happening" was the report this morning.

I did read it, while your question “what combo of hormones...” indicated you put no effort into reading the paper

Yes, well, no #IUD or #BCP increases the risk of pregnancy, severe pms symptoms #dysmennhorea including excessive & extended bleeding sometimes more than once a month, migraines, body pain, severe ovulation pain. #MirenaIUD is plastic, so less risk of allergies like copper ones

This is not new information. I took the pill & used an IUD. My doctor's gave me that info before I received a prescription. So what the heck are the Danish talking about?
