        It’s time the #Internet gets independent from #US companies and infrastructure. It is already common knowledge that data that can end up on US servers is not safe. We also need much more strong #encryption. I see no hope in US legislators to get a decent grip on things.

        Only problem is that the majority of people in this country don’t want to do what it takes to encrypt and secure their comms. It is great to have encryption, but I cannot get anyone I know to use it as well, so it is a non-starter!

        Wouldn’t buy an autonomous vehicle anyway. Love driving myself, don’t want a computer to take over my life. Too much proprietary electronics already in modern cars. The problem comes w connectivity as with all #InternetOfThings
