What’s the price of appeasement?

I think its ironic that a coward who managed to play sport at the same time as avoiding the draft has such an obsession with war - obviously making up for lost time but, of course, doing it from a distance.

The real price should be measured by lives lost. Not The Pure Profit...arms dealers and RE-ELECTED ,policians and their back room cronies will see coming out of it ! The likely boost in our economy through the immediate losses that will come to bare on all societies near and far.
-
With the Nuclear devastation it may not even be measurable. Atleast till our grandchildren clean up our mess! We all know whom to hold responsible. This is for when they come out of their very well supplied and cozy underground government bunkers !

My father was an Infantry Officer during the Korean war. He had horrendous nightmares every single night for the rest of his life. I grew up hearing his screams every single night. The horror is beyond comprihension.

Not acceptable of a physical war this day and age. I don’t buy that N Korea would be any target for behaviour like that. They are beautifull ppl that eat Kim Chi. :).

Taiwan. You seriously think the US could do anything to stop the Chinese? PLA Deputy Chief of Staff Xiong Gangkai in 1996: "...you are not going threaten us again because in the end, you care a lot more about Los Angeles than Taipei."
-
Japan and Germany thought that 80 years ago. Didn’t go to well for them from memory. The entire thing is ridiculous and preventable. Also people need to realise the US accounts for up to 60% of China’s GDP.
-
Simple logistics and debt to GDP. 7th Fleet can't fight a two front war.
-
But it won’t just be the US. There will be a group including Russia if it hits the fan. It isn’t just the US vs NK . I can think of 12 countries off the top of my head that will join in if it crosses the start line.
