The rise of the far-right is nth but a result of the syria crisis that caused the refugee issue. Blaming Germany for this is beyond stupid. Conversly, by taking million refugees (USA took what, 50000?) Germany stood up and tried to play a part in solving this issue. Get smart ffs

America's allies are using the same words to define their relationship with the US as they have used to define their relationship with Russia. Trump scores low at home and abroad.

Not exactly. In fact the German ally does NOT like the US rhetoric and new sanctions against Russia:http://www.dw.com/en/us-bill-on-russia-sanctions-prompts-german-austrian-outcry/a-39270624 …

You are making it sound like Germany supports Russian politics. That is a NO. Merkel has criticized Trump, mainly on North Korea, and she loudly distrusts Putin. The Senate bill would clearly hurt German business but it has little to do with international politics.

Germany does NOT support Russian policies but neither considers Russia a major threat or an enemy nor has called its president a thug and a killer.
