Bullshit. 66% of higher property tax towns in N.J. are paid out to rest of state for education to other districts. They see only 33% of their educational dollar. The waste in overlapping services can be helped, but with only 33% of tax revenue, towns already struggle.

Re-learn your economics. They are borrowing (and that will cost more) to fund all the things you get instead of taxing you for them. Now to get the same the cost will go up (either cost of borrowing or higher taxes) or you will get less.

Read this and learn which states receive the least federal funding and have the highest taxes both state and local. Not a coincidence.

the taxability on muni bond interest is about funding deficits, not redistribution of "federal tax collections" (which most are funded by federal debt). Let's look at states total expenditures vs tax collections and how they fund the diff.

GOP, claiming to stand for family, religious values, law & order, economic stability - undermines all. GOP supports liars, corruption, child molesting, sexual abuser-in-chief, treason & Robin Hood-in-reverse tax bill, hurting widow, orphan, poor & makes rich, richer. Stop them.

There is no problem taking from the riches to give to the poor in my book and this comment sounds like a right-wing cry. But sharing has to be justified based on hard data, and money used to help the poor, not to sustain their abuse by the state's privileged oligarchy.

You know how many poor Republicans there are living in Democratic run areas? And this also implies that all Republicans are well-off or wealthy. Time to fact check yourself John and @nytimes. 🤦🏼‍♀️
