Facebook say they are losing kids to Snapchat they are also losing kids to suicide from bullying, abuse, low self esteem. The world doesn't need another App from a company only interested in making money.

This is bad news. The sad truth is that Facebook & Google have behaved irresponsibly in the pursuit of massive profits. No doubt the content that will create addiction in children far too young to resist...

Messenger already incredibly intrusive & difficult to maintain privacy from ones befriended on Facebook. It presents moral dilemmas for adults trying maintain distance from online acquaintances w/o offending them, or defriending most persistently annoying. Multiply for juniors.

Also just another opportunity for creep contact. Even old guys like me inundated with friend requests from too young, too pretty women who, after the first wave, auto-reply nonsense. Only tried to be polite twice. Ignore all now. (BTW, too young here is under their mid-thirties.)
