Or not. However, having read the Logan Act, I do see why Obama may want to take a pause from his world tour and consider his actions before he meets with any other world leaders in an attempt to undermine the current administration and their international policies.

Flynn has authority. Obama DID NOT! In general, the Act is intended to prevent unauthorized American citizens from interfering in disputes or controversies between the United States and foreign governments. Obama has no business doing this.

Obama no long represents the United States and does not speak on our behalf. It’s appalling for him to meet with world leaders!

Really Times? How about you read It? Considering that you embrace the disregard for it everyday. By embracing Obama's overseas action. Huge violation.

Here's why they shouldn't: 1) It hasn't been enforced in decades;2) No one has ever been convicted of it;3) They haven't violated it;4) Obama violated it in 2011 when he spoke to Russkie Amb Medvedev w/o a peep;5) NYT is full of sheet!

Before anyone gets concerned about an archaic act that has never been prosecuted, they should be concerned around federal and state laws involving money laundering and IRS statutes. Follow the money, and I believe that is being done by the best!
