Actually NYT is just like any other newspaper that consists of many sections and topics. They cover cooking and travel too, even love stories, not just news.

I realize this. But their coverage of everything—including this section—is sounding less like "all the news that's fit to print," and more like "all the news that doesn't require reporting." On the article I flagged: attributing X characteristics to any ethnic group is wrong.
