When you say 'we,' which 'we' do you mean? All reasonable, intelligent people have recognized for generations that demeaning and devaluing women is an insidious, expensive problem. So I assume that your 'we' refers to the men who've run the show since the beginning of time.

So why do you not say that outright, up top? 'We' [meaning women and the men who already understand the concept] expect authors on the subject to be straightforward and tell it like it is without mincing words.

Right, very expensive. Not immoral, or really shitty, or, you know, something you should know without anyone telling you.

It is helpful for readers to know that the author is female and writes of her own experiences with sexual harassment. The headline [authors do not write headlines] does not represent the content of the article. Probably written by a man thinking he knew what it's about.

Haven’t read the article yet, but don’t like the headline. Sounds like devaluing women would be okay if just didn’t cost so darn much.

Some of us already knew that and have been advocating for equality for decades. The word you’re looking for is “patriarchy” and examples are how Pence ran his state and the mentality of white evangelicals who don’t think women should even be in the workplace. (See: Roy Moore)

So it took economics to recognise that women are human. Nice.

But I’m curious...are we human or are we actually superhuman? Because IMO takes superhuman strength to keep enduring as women have and always will
