With the passage of a Senate tax plan, Republicans are close to a big victory. But will it help them politically?http://nyti.ms/2i9Jflk

That is just a joke. Why are there no demonstrations going on? This is insane to watch from Europe.

So long America! The @GOP just gave the 1% of billionaires & rich corporations massive tax entitlements paid for by middle & lower income families. So long America! The Kremlin agent, @realDonaldTrump is well on his way with the destruction of the Constitution & our democracy.

Until Americans start to care about how much influence corporations have over politics and stop trying to fight each other, this is going to keep happening. This bill was written for corporations by corporations. And till money is ripped from politics no tweeting will change it

This is not right vs left. This is class warfare. The haves are shamelessly attacking the have-nots and you’re letting it happen. Give a shit for once. Trump is not the issue here, this has been happening for a long time. Money needs to be taken out of politics. DO SOMETHING!

Your democracy is broken. Your opinion doesn’t matter and for some reason Americans don’t fucking care. Whether you’re left or right wing, the idea of a corporation taking away the value of your beliefs should piss you off

PLEASE do not term the GOP tax bill "tax reform" or "tax cut". It is a tax shift from taxing corporations to taxing you and me.

Please let's just stop putting everything in political context! THE WHOLE THING IS BECOMING A FOOTBALL GAME, ROOTING FOR YOUR TEAM TO WIN AT ANY COST. America is the team we should all be rooting for. WE ARE TRIBAL AT THIS POINT.

I doubt it will hurt them that much in the Senate in 2018; we see in Alabama that R's can run just about anything and win in red states. When people in red states get hurt, they'll just blame Obama and "the libs" that the idiots will fall for it.

Corporations won’t be voting , they can supply the money to try and win but in the end it comes down to the American voter. Too bad the Rep only represent the 1% the other 99% will be showing up to the polls.

Please stop using terms like “win” and “victory” if you care about the future of this country. This isn’t about Rs or Ds winning battles. This is a war for the very soul of our democracy.
