These documents raise new questions about what then President-elect Trump knew about Michael Flynn’s conversationshttp://nyti.ms/2ia9TLe

Flynn met with the ambassador, at the request of the president-elect (after the election, so not even relevant to the investigation) to discuss the possibility of coming to an agreement to aid Israel. His only crime was lying about the meeting.

No, actually talking to foreign governments before the president is sworn in is a crime. Re the Logan act. You can argue maybe not prosecuted much/ever but it is a crime. Additionally Flynn plead because there were much larger crimes he was nailed on.

The same way 0bama did when he was president-elect? http://archive.boston.com/news/politics/2008/articles/2008/11/09/obama_chats_with_medvedev_on_phone/ …

But Obama did not lie and hide about the phone calls. He also did not fire FBI director for any investigation!. “Obama foreign policy adviser Denis McDonough said yesterday that Obama had "a good conversation" with Polish President Lech Kaczynski.”

So then the only crime Flynn committed in this matter was lying about the meeting. I agree that he should be punished for doing so... So what about the other people who were found to have lied under oath to the FBI, you know the ones who aren't Republicans?

Exactly whom are you referring to? If they come up in Mueller's investigation he would charge them regardless of political stripe. And how about we investigate/prosecute this crime based on its merits. That is how it is presented to a jury. Not, Hey Obama did something too

Fairly obvious at this point that Trump directed it and Pence and others knew it and lied. We’ll see, but Flynn is singing; therefore, collusion and obstruction charges likely coming soon. The very idea that Flynn was acting without Trump’s approval is ludicrous.

Flynn was skin to skin with Trump the entire duration of the campaign, then beyond. Don't tell me Trump never knew.

Why are any of you trying convince Peter? At this point trumpsters are nothing but boring individuals who cannot recognize a dupe when it hits them in the face. I’m sure his hero will want to sell him the Brooklyn bridge after he’s impeached.
