Ummmmm . . . because the boomers stole everything and refuse to share any of it until the millennials pry it from their cold, dead hands?

They will be more unhappy when GOP comes back after new year to empty their Social Security and Medicaid/Medicare to pay for $4 billion handout to Trump estate alone.

I was 17 in 1980... A job that paid $10/hr then now earns the equivalent of 11.10 today [consumer value] It "should" be 31.50 to have the equivalent now,... 35 years later people on average are earning just 1/3 .. Meanwhile the CEOs and billionaires give themselves 9 X more !??

Relying on the Federal Government to support me with SS gives me anxiety, considering what a joke they are, and how quick they can steal from & dismantle programs. Neither parties can be trusted to have my best interest in mind, and need to give me back my money because I do!

Hey Conservative fiscally responsible fellow Americans - remember that tiny tax cuts SOME of working class gets, expire in few short years while limits on deductions don’t. This pays for PERMANENT handouts to billionaires. Remember that when you step in the booth in 2018

They can be made permanent, just like 82% of Bushes tax cuts were, at a later date. This makes it easier for them to be repealed if they don't help the economy like you claim they will so please stop whinnying.

Then its not 1.4 trillion bill and should be voted with supermajority. Cannot have it both ways. Also, why not make corporate rate also temporary if extension is such a sure thing? More lies told to you to suck it up

Businesses need stability in order to invest their money rather than hoard it, just like people. You spend when you are sure more money is coming in. They are also trying to get some of the money held over seas repatriated back into US economy, which will take more time.

They are using budget reconciliation to pass this, which is fine and legal. The Byrd rule stipulates that any bill cannot add to the federal deficit outside of 10 years and they count Obamacare subsidies as benefits thanks to Roberts. That is why the rest aren't permanent.

Then call it corporate tax cut not working class tax cut. Reconciliation is not legal above 1.5 t which you are admitting it will go over, yet want to claim it wont when it comes to recon rules. Disingenuous, claimant loses credibility.
