Thank you for this article. The public desperately needs education on this subject, in the hopes that sexual assault victims will receive better treatment, from police, lawyers, judges and juries when they do come forward.

Please. Women need jobs. And look what happens to women when they do come forward to report harassment.

They don’t doubt them. People like this just don’t care. There either women who are used to be treated like shit and want to “serve” their man (I almost threw up a little writing that) or their sexist, male chauvinist assholes. Regardless they’re part of the problem

Black people completely understand why women who are abused don't come forward; white males are allowed to get away with just about anything...it's been their affirmative action for hundreds of years.

        1) Because it's usually those positions of power that make men believe they can. 2) Because it does happen everywhere but the media isn't interested in John Smith.

Can’t remember what happened, but can remember what kind of shoes he wore? Couldn’t open a locked car door from inside when there were no child proof locks back then? Parked his car where there was not even room for a car? Refuses to allow yearbook entry to be examined?

Every person is different. No one knows how anyone will act in any given situation. Young victims also tend to suppress until adulthood.
