'There is enough truth' is a nice way of trying to undermine the claims. Jackass.

I thought that too, which really doesn't make this much of an apology at all. I'm very disappointed.

I would be too. There's no perfect apology, but any one that casts doubt on the accusations and the accusers makes me furious.

Let’s be clear: Matt Lauer’s behavior crossed the line from uncivil and reprehensible to the criminal. He raped a young woman in his office. Sit with that and take that in. Now listen to his whatever it was today. Disgusting

Stop talking. Fade from view. The story’s over. We’re interrupting you to get on with the rest of the story. Don’t you DARE write a book. Like you told Hillary after the election.

"There is enough truth" is a horrible apology. Time to take accountability for ones behavior. Matt Lauer needs to own it and truly apologize.

That doesn’t sound like an apology, he didn’t say sorry, just that he was embarrassed and ashamed!

Most of these men apologize once outed and claim embarrassment or shame! Never before or they would have stopped 👀👎

You know, I’m behind everyone who admits their bad behaviors & makes amends so long as they are sincere & they learn a lesson. My boss apologized, was remorseful & strived to not make the same mistakes again. I forgave him. I’m not going to my grave with a grudge.

How about putting some $$ behind that apology and donating to causes that help women. That’s how you can start.
