If Colbert ever gets accused of sexual misconduct I’m finding the edge of the earth and jumping off of it.

He will be gone soon as well. Inevitable that at some point he touched someone's hand, inadvertently brushed up against a woman, spurned a love interest, or asked someone out on a date.

Allegedly. But witch hunts don't end with just witches on the pyre. And this crusade will be no different.

Multiple accusers. Corroborated by witnesses that were told at the time of event. Just because women are finally telling their stories doesn’t mean it’s a witch hunt. Many of us have kept our secrets for decades.

I can think of quite a few women who made unwanted advances, said, did, and showed some riske or inappropriate things to me over my career. Wonder if I should now expose them and ruin their lives and careers.

Never viewed them as predators. Misguided, salacious, foolish, hopeful, wishful, presumptuous, all. But reality is no harm was done, except perhaps to their own egos. We're pretending our minds are like brittle porcelain, when the reality is the vast majority are made of granite.

Lauer admitted to the accusations so you are standing up for a guy who admits to being inappropriate. Instead of adding anything constructive to the conversation, you are siding with someone who already admitted guilt.
