Lauer is embarrassed and ashamed he got caught. I’m pretty sure if the #MeToo campaign had never started he’d still be summoning aides to his office today and secretly locking the doors on them.

I'm starting to think all of these #apology statements are written by the same #PR firm. Like is there just a form letter that they were just like, "here #mattlauer, fill in the blanks" or what?

        Better than not apologizing

The ONLY reason he apologized is because he got caught. What would be better is for him not to have been a #sexualpredator in the first place.

He is only embarrassed and ashamed because he got caught. He didn't seem too embarrassed and ashamed doing it all these years. The apologies are sickening. These men are not sorry.

It always amazes me how many carry "I'm sorry" around with them and hand them out like wooden nickels when needed. It also amazes me that Trump hasn't been called to his ADMITTED sexual predatory behavior. I guess to his supporters... that's how he rolls. #SAD4USA

This really isn't breaking news. Matt Lauer has displayed bad behavior for years! While I am not an insider, there have been multiple tabloid stories over the years of his alleged infidelities, some with pics as proof. But this one was the straw that broke the camel's back.
