NYT thinks this man who raps about drugs, gangs and shit represents the black population. Isn't that considered generalisation on top of being racist?
-
When was the last time he rapped about drugs & gangs?

Question is WHY do we keep having this conversation? Is it that impossible to fathom everyone being equal? To have the same freedoms and advantages? It's actually sad that there are those who still have this mindset
-
Because it's easier to look at the progression other made before and say that everything is equal and fixed than it is to face the reality that there are people born in America with certain advantages and disadvantages based on race, religion, and gender. The truth hurts.

For those that don’t understand: No, we don’t NEED a trash heap in the Oval Office to have this discussion, but having someone so blatantly problematic in charge forces us into the uncomfortable conversations that no one wanted to have when the problems aren’t in everyone’s face
-
I’m not even a Jay-Z fan, but I’ve said this numerous times. It’s like if an arm breaks and heals wrong. You have to break it again in order to deal with the underlying issue. Yeah, it hurts, but there’s no ther way to fix it.

Also, sorry for the tense shift in the first sentence; I was typing quickly. As a former English major, this irks me deeplypic.twitter.com/xW4a8tQvEH

Did he ask Obama the same question after he stirred up the issue?
-
Stirred up... How!?!
-
Were you sleeping the last 8 years? Obama had and has nothing in common with the African Americans history in this country except actually being “African American”. The fact his father bailed out on him is as close as he gets to having anything similar. Played everyone for the $$

What conversation? Trump isn't having it. Those of his followers who are racist aren't having it. Calling Mexicans rapists, retweeting hate groups, and denying racism isn't a conversation. They're trying to redefine reality, not have a dialogue.
-
Exactly.

Agree! RACE is the Conversation America hasn't had in centuries because it has infected everything, everybody and every Institution. The Oval Office is blatantly the last straw!!!
