Buying a fully assembled gun is a process subject to a host of regulations. But anyone can make a gun at home.http://nyti.ms/2zJ8Ixt

Only people who have been affected by gun violence should have a say in matters pertaining to gun safety/violence. Pretty sure that congressmen/women who receive $$ from the NRA are not really looking out for their constituents best interests.

The nra is the most genuinely grass roots, publically funded political organisation in America. So take your bullshit and tell someone who cares.

You can make a gun out of a rolled up magasine, some match heads and old screws. They do it in prison all the time.

FFS. How about focusing on the much larger issue of acquiring guns with such ease in this country? I know no one who "makes a gun at home". Why? You can get a gun in America as easy as buying groceries.

America has and will always be armed, accept the responsibility of defending yourself. If you can’t, cry yourself to sleep at night over the astronomical odds of you being killed in a mass shooting. We don’t give up freedom for “safety”

Well. I live in an armed country except we don’t have mass shootings once a week. It’s obviously a culture thing. Stats don’t lie.

Are guns acquisition regulated in any way in Canada? In countries like Japan or Peru, there's a stringent process if anyone wants to get a gun. Mental health, background, criminal checks & only some guns can b purchased. U r right, it is a cultural problem.

Japan is also a monocultural society who was invaded and stripped of any autonomy. They still have one of the highest suicide rates in the world. Considering 21k of our 30k gun deaths are suicide you would that that speaks volumes about where there’s a will there’s a way.

So, based on your logic, "why do anything if there's no way to stop it" & "People are gonna kill each other, oh well... I got My gun" I don't, and many in the country, share the same nihilistic view of the world as you do.

Kinda wondered about that. Recently I saw pistol components for sale individually on ebay (guns not allowed for sale here) that, when assembled would be a gun sold on ebay. It is happening.pic.twitter.com/FA6MeoCGYi
