That's usually where the guns are. In the hands of a dumbass. This guy should be in jail and facing a trial. There's absolutely no valid excuse for what happened to this poor woman.

Crime. All ‘true’ hunters hunt during legal hours, with the proper firearms, and have clear sight on the target they are shooting. This guy is a disgrace & should do time for murder or manslaughter.

Some people are to stupid to own guns. First rule of hunting: you don’t shoot it if you aren’t 100% certain. Prison time for the shooter well deserved

200 Yards. Thought it was a deer. Was Twilight. It’s illegal to shoot deer after sundown. Used a pistol. Hmm. Seems legit.🙄

Sounds like something a pissed off neighbor would do and they claim it was an accident. When you shoot a weapon you're shooting to kill someone. That is what they are used for, so there are no accidents.

This is a terribly tragic event, but "fatally shot by hunter" is misleading as hell... "Fatally shot by a complete moron who should face charges" is too long to print so I understand.

This happened not far from me. 5:30 in a rural area is almost total darkness outside this time of year. He couldn’t have seen more than a vague moving shape at best. And at that distance? It’s totally absurd that he would think to fire under those circumstances. Utter negligence.
