It seems trump and his allies are going after every program designed to help the less fortunate.i understand the greed of people like trump, but why are republican Christians supporting the dismantling of every helpful government program.we are not going to like ourselves soon!

Whatever congress may or may not be doing, the premise that people who are taxed and offered a deduction are more likely to give to charity than those who are not taxed in the first place is completely false.

@realDonaldTrump is eradicating poverty by eliminating what charities try to help. He appointed millionaires, regardless of qualifications, in his administration. He calls sadism improving the economy. His poorly educated doesn't mind. SAD.pic.twitter.com/YQVUlTYviU

No surprise here. Just like the IRS targeted conservative organisation's that were trying to gain charitable status to help needy American's.

The NYT is actually speaking on behalf of the Clinton Foundation/Global Initiative. They are still owed "favors".

I guess you're one of those people who've never opened an actual newspaper. Real papers have many sections, from sports to business to arts - and they all devote space to opinions & editorials, as well as straight reporting and news analysis.
