That's the reason I avoided sports like Cricket and Hockey because I was terrified of getting my bonce caved in! I'm all for the Lacrosse head gear!

As in hockey, it is appropriate for boys and girls to wear the same headgear

Could never figure out why they didn’t wear a helmet. True, more difficult it to throw as hard with the flatter mesh surface, but you’re still gonna feel it-and, the ground is still just as hard whether you hit it intentionally, or on accident

Accidental stick to head isn’t pleasant either, happened to my daughter last year.

Safety should be kept as a top priority for the sport. However, whether headgear is worn or not, fundamental skills to play in control AND with grit must be held accountable by US Lacrosse, NCAA, coaches & players.

Good for them, some girls can play with boys... They'll crush regular, feminine girls!

The girls should have head gear. Guess what? Society needs to stop 🛑 holding them back. They can handle playing as hard as the boys.
