Tax cuts aren't about transferring money to anyone. That's what levying taxes and socialist programs do. Tax cuts let people keep money they have earned. That's all. #socialism, #capitalism #Taxes

So why do I still have to give the government 40% of my salary? I’m single with no children and still paying off student loans. I don’t make enough to get a tax cut and make too much for any assistance. Why can’t I keep what I earned so I can get out of debt??

Good question. Though you shouldn't have addressed it to me. Ask the government why the income tax is levied at all. In the end it is a punishment for working and earning money.

Actually, I think she needs to ask an accountant. If above facts are true, she is paying way too much in tax.

Ding ding! It’s the thanks I get for going to professional school. Thanks US government. And not just me, but many of my single, childless friends. I had to move out of my apartment & buy a house. And btw, both my parents and Godparents are CPA’s. So, yeah... any other thoughts?
