Evangelicalism appeals to White racist disaffected men and women who believe women and non-Whites and non-Christians are inferior to White Christian straight men. Trump is perfect for them and causes them no crisis of faith.

They're not even all straight... I'm convinced the VP is just closeted, so as not to disappoint mother.

Oh, I didn’t say the men actually ARE straight, just that these wingnuts believe in the superiority of straight White Christian males. Bless their hearts, most (ALL?) homophobes are as gay as a San Francisco Gay Pride parade!

I am hoping that there will be an evangelical decline. I am sick and tired of those hypocrites.

Having lived and worked among these people, in the Bible Belt, for thirty-one years I can say with complete sincerity they are the American Taliban.

Evangelicals need to realize that their views and actions make them appear less Christ-like and more like radical religious fanatics, or, in their parlance, Anti-Christ-like. OK, I’ll say it, Radical Christian Terrorists.

The moral dilemma is whether so-called Christians should support someone who is an unashamed and serial sinner? Is a seat on the US Supreme Court worth eternal damnation?

I cannot imagine just HOW a thrice married, twice divorced cheater and adulterer, who has lied, cheated, and stolen can remotely be thought of as a Christian representative.

I have no fears since I don't compromise my morals. Feed the hungry, help the sick, love thy neighbor. Those are principles the left abides by.
