Haven't read the article because the title is WTF? So rapists just like sex more than the rest of us? IT. ISN'T. ABOUT. LIBIDO.

It's okay. It accuratel critiques male avoidance of talking about sexuality. Male talk of sex is mostly performative. But the guy is seriously wrong about SEX being inherently violent. Sex reflects culture, macro and personal. Culture is violent.

I haven't read his book, but I question his understanding of feminism (it is as much personal as it is policy) or psychology (Oedipus complex? Seriously?). Seems his heart is in the right place though.

This isn’t about libido. It’s just about unchecked brutality.

Rape/sexual assault and harassment have nothing to do with sex and attraction. Men are predators because they seek and want to maintain structures of power. The issue isn't male sexuality.

Until you publish an equally long and rambling essay on the unexamined female passive aggression you remain an unbalanced venue of journalism with a rapidly eroding margin of credibility. Stop driving his male/ female wedge into society. It’s not working.

Geez, you make men sound so pathetic - like they can’t help but rape women because of their Libido. Meanwhile, most men function perfectly well in the society we know. If you’re having trouble, maybe you need to get some help. The guys I know are doing fine.
