This article is important in understanding how low income white Americans see the world. No matter where they live, their economic insecurity can cause them to see the world in harmful ways

This man SHOULD be trying to receive assistance to get back on his feet. The do-for-self mentality is blinding people to the fact that government policy is needed t help right these circumstances so people can get back on their feet

Stereotyping is second nature to most ppl. It is a by product of our experiences.

Well, I guess that means you too New York Times, you also cause stereotyping. I can't honestly believe from the articles I read from you, you're really going there for attention, you're pissing people off too, because of businesses as yours groups like Antifa will grow.

Thing is, do you think the stuff they’re reporting is incorrect? If these biases still exist and are still having adverse effects on Americans, aren’t they obligated to report that information so we can work to fix it?

I don't like being scammed, I don't like people scamming other people, because of their bad choices in life. Instead of saying give what you can, you have said goal 10K. This is a scam and I'm sure that you can get hired as a nurse aide and work your way up like the rest of us
