Parents of boys have to do better. Don't assume your budding tech genius or scholar-athlete will internalize decent behavior simply by osmosis or observing you. Boys in groups easily turn savage. You must be proactive to raise independently civilized kids.

Stop this war against men. You lump all of them together making them ALL sound like monsters that go bump in the night. There are good decent men..more than bad. Try highlighting them for once.

Right now is a moment when the covers are being pulled back on bad behavior & the progress we still have to make. Many men are saying that they didn't know it was this bad before seeing #metoo. Seems ok to use this focus to do some helpful correcting for all of us.

It is not necessary to bash men in the process, which is being done more often than it gets called out for being done.

My brother was taught that it is always wrong for a boy/man to hit a girl/woman. Just walk away, you don't have to hit or attack anyone!

This isn't about hitting women. This is about boys not knowing that no means no, and that it's not ok to touch inappropriately or show your junk without consent (& lady being asked is over 18).

It also made me aware of how much consent culture is outside the norms and not introduced and taught to our children from a young age. I've had many conversations with my children about this topic.

I was den mum at a recent camp with 13 y/olds. I did notice how much the boys hit, poked, grabbed and hugged their girl classmates. It made me aware of how, when the hormones really kicked in, this behavior could lead to lines being crossed.

Kind of what I thought, as a father of 4 girls, can verify if you’d like, I am extremely interested in your feminism, but feminists don’t debate they only accuse and have no good arguments that I’ve seen, only hate and hypocrisy. Which you seem to fit
