Atari doesn't "still exist". The current Atari is just a French company (formerly Infogrames) that bought the name.

They don't even own all the Atari IPs, which were split up decades ago. (The other half, the arcade game half, is currently back with Warner Bros, due to Warner acquiring Midway, which owned Atari Games, but I'm not even sure WB knows it)

My mom bought me the retro console last year at Christmas (It was our first "computerized" product ever in the 80's).. I have yet to hook it up and I feel bad about that.
