You need to report that these refugees are waiting to go to USA, as per agreement, but the #Trump administration is holding up the process.

These refugees were given the option to go and they refused to leave Manus. Its on them no one else if they refuse to go. They will never be settled in Australia because they did the wrong thing.... Simple...

When they come through the proper channels I will support then and do support them. I just don't believe in creating anarchy and saying its okay to put children on boats for a dangerous crossing. That will bring a Tsunami of boats Australia can't deal with causing backlash.

There is no Tsunami of boats, never has been. Distance has long separated Australia from the refugee crisis that afflicts most other large countries. Refugee have International rights to seek help. We maroon them on foreign islands. Immoral. #Manus

A great ocean seperates Italy and the African coast and that does not stop the thousands of boat going over. Have you seen the results the rescue crews deal with when those boats more often than not capsize or sink. They bodies of children pulled out. Is that what you want here?

That’s what we have here. Hundreds HAVE died at sea trying to get here. Did you miss #Rohingya latest statement that they would rather die at sea than stay where they are? This government covers up boat attempts. It’s happening here. We need a better plan than #Manus
