Germany is mired in a political crisis. Here are some of our best recent stories about the country:http://nyti.ms/2B14RI4

Well, "political crisis" is a bit harsh. I would say more of a "slight political impasse" at the moment.

Second that. Germans don't panic. We roll our eyes and open the lower desk drawer to get the alternative plans. Planning instead of panicking.

"Planning instead of panicking." Others should try that for once! ;-) (Obligatory precautionary "D'Oh!" in case we still do f*** it up and panicking is in order.)

Don't forget to contact your panic partner in time. Lines of two and hold hands. No lingering! No running!

I wouldn't call it crisis, it's going through a democratic process and it will be solved democratically. Various options are available to get things sorted out.

You forgot the time migrants burnt down a center due to the lack of Nutella and gummy bears

And all the times right-wing extremists set fire to centers for asylum seekers ...

Which pale in comparison to the times migrants do it themselves. Still despicable, your point ?

Well, you felt the need to state this off-topic fact so I felt the need to at least balance it with another aspect. Less informed people might otherwise get the impression that people are coming to Germany to burn down their dwellings in masses.

Well, judging by the German criminal statistic (PKS) they only come to commit fraud for social money, rape, beat up people and steal (all up between 160-630% depending on the crime) But they certainly don't come to burn down shit shit deliberately there you have a point.

Funny, I wouldn't put "mired in a political crisis" and "our favorite/best stories" together.
