Anyone who brings guns to a protest, is looking to intimidate others. Peaceful protest does not require you carry a weapon. That's what cops are for. For fair application of the law to everyone.

You know what would be the best way to deter violence at this statue? Bulldoze it.

Put the statues that are on public land up for auction, let the highest bidder come & get it with 30 days to move them.

These monuments need to be left alone. SJW and Antifa goons should find another hobby--perhaps they will protest one another if one among them is bright enough to realize that #Antifa and their #SJW scum are the only #Fascists gathering in America's streets.

You truly are daft--both were said following the end of WWI; with regards to Germany, it was also said following the end of WWII (and the Germans are once again the dominant economic power in Europe--the thing that WWII was meant to prevent).
