Men dismiss bad behavior as “jokes” in both comedy and politics. Too often, women are just the material.http://nyti.ms/2hGkGMC

Remember that this goes for women too. Leeann Tweeden was seen in pictures and videos grabbing and dry humping men. If you don’t want to be treated like that, don’t invite it.

Excuse me. Mr. Franken apologized and requested an ethics investigation. Trump did nothing but excuse his admittance of sexual assault on locker room talk. Try again and stop comparing the two.

The article points out some uncomfortable similarities. I am offended and disappointed by Al Franken' s behaviour. But you are right to point out that the way the two are handling things are much different. Al Franken is much more contrite and to me much more believable.

I was too. But if Leanne accepted his apology, stated in 2 interviews she did not want him to resign or thought an ethics review was necessary, why are all other females more offended than his accuser and demanding his resignation yanno?

But Franken is not hiding behind jokes. He apologized. Also, look at the USO tour he was on...it seemed to be the 'theme'. Not something he created. Because our fighting troops are worried about pc culture...

Did you not learn from your atrocious reporting leading up to the Iraq invasion? You are not just wrong by equating these-even tho you claim not to-you are loud wrong.

Franken didn’t hide behind this or joke about it. He owned it and apologized. Trump refuses to even admit it, let alone apologize. Stop trying to create equivalency between the two.

The damage is done already... And no apology will change that for the victim.
